Administrative Assistant

Candidate must have a good work ethic, strong organizational, time management and communication skills, be self-motivated, and computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment, working with the public, and as part of a team.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, and ensure that all tax filings meet client regulatory filing deadlines

  • Proactively manage database and workflow systems to ensure accurate maintenance of client data

  • Assist when needed to complete projects or other tasks

  • Manage phone lines and direct incoming and outgoing communications

  • Prepare and distribute tax organizers annually

  • Organize and scan client documents

  • Review and analyze documents, identify solutions and assist when needed to support team members

  • Possess strong technology skills with an ability to adapt to changes and new programs

  • Proactively communicate with office leaders and clients to ensure deadlines are met

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters applications and SurePrep software is a plus

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality

  • Available to work seasonal overtime

Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist 
Responsibilities include data entry, general ledger account reconciliation, payroll and payroll tax preparation.  The ideal candidate will have a 2 year associate’s degree with 0 – 2 years of recent experience.  

Staff Accountant

Candidate must have a good work ethic, strong organizational, time management and communication skills, be self-motivated, and computer literate. Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment, working with the public and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, be a CPA or actively working toward licensure, with 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparation of tax returns and other tax filings

  • Perform bookkeeping duties for assigned clients

  • Perform analytical and detailed work efficiently and accurately

  • Prepare and maintain financial data and records for assigned clients

  • Utilize and develop a functional understanding of various tax programs, tax and research software, and internal workflow/procedures

  • Exercise discretion and judgment when working with confidential client matters

  • Accurately report and release billable and non-billable time consistently

  • Meet productivity standards

  • Provide assistance, including tax research, to senior staff and partners as needed

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters applications, Quickbooks and SurePrep software is a plus

  • Available to work overtime during tax season

Senior Accountant 

Candidate must have a good work ethic, strong organizational, time management and communication skills, be self-motivated, and computer literate. Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment, working with the public and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, be a CPA, with a minimum of 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C Corporation, S Corporation, and partnership engagements.

  • Complete account reconciliations and record transactions as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual adjusting and closing process.

  • Prepare and review general ledger, financial statements and required work papers

  • Listen to clients and provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.

  • Develop and train team members

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality

  • Expand technical and professional knowledge through client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.

  • Available to work seasonal overtime

  • CPA license and a minimum or 3 years experience in public accounting required

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters, Quickbooks applications and Sureprep software a plus


Seasonal Tax Preparer 
Responsibilities include preparation of individual and business income tax returns.  The ideal candidate will be an EA or a CPA with a minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience.  This is a seasonal position, with flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.  Working remotely may be considered. Permanent part-time positions will also be considered.  

    
Experience with the Thomson Reuters professional suite is a plus.
