Rich Kelsey founded Kelsey Osborne, LLC in 2007. As Managing Partner, Rich oversees all operations—managing staff, finances, and client services. With more than 30 years of accounting experience, Rich specializes in providing business and personal income tax planning and compliance, estate planning, succession and retirement planning, business management, and a full complement of financial services. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist. He also holds Series 7 & Series 66 Securities Licenses, and Health, Life, & Accident Insurance Licenses.
Prior to founding the firm, Rich was a partner and served 27 years with a regional public accounting firm. He also served as CFO of a multi-specialty, multi-location medical practice.
Rich was honored as "Super CPA" by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) since 1983, and is involved in both the AICPA's Personal Financial Planning and Tax sections. He is also a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and St. Mary's Church. In his free time, Rich enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, following sports, and is an avid reader.
